Allen ISD Student Device Program

Empower 1:1 Student Device Program

  • The Allen Empower 1:1 student program will be launched during the first semester of the new school year, 2021-2022. The program's goal is to provide a device for learning to each student attending school in the district. More detailed information will be communicated to parents after the school year starts.

Device Fee Information

  • To support the sustainability of the program, Allen ISD will institute a non-refundable device insurance fee of $30.00 per year for accidental damage protection insurance. The insurance program will cover the costs of repairs and replacement of parts stemming from unintentional damage that otherwise would be charged based on the fee schedule specified on the table below.

  • The fee will be payable via School Pay, in installments, as the devices are distributed in the fall of 2021 (free and reduced lunch device fee scales will be available). Payment of the insurance fee is required prior to students receiving their device.

  • Note: intentional damage or loss of a device is not covered under the insurance policy, and thus will be charged according to the Empower 1-1 Device Insurance Fee Information & Intentional Damage_Loss Fee Schedule table below.

Request for All Grade Levels

Rountree Parents:

Thank you for sending and having these helpful items on hand at school each day:

Please send a change of clothing to school. Accidents are very common at the elementary age, and having a change of clothing is helpful.

Please send a water bottle (reusable or disposable) with your student each day. Your student will need it for recess and for breaks throughout the day.
