Bus Information

We want to let you know that our fall bus evacuations will be taking place between Oct. 15th-26th. We try to do these during our layover times at buildings to keep things on schedule. Parents may notice that their P.M. routes are slightly delayed but we'll do our best to avoid that.

Lost & Found

Final Call for Lost & Found items!! Any items not picked up will be donated to the Salvation Army after school on Friday, October 19. Come and check it out if you are missing any items.

A Note from the Secretaries

Thank you for sending in notes with your child for any changes to their normal routine. Please make every effort to notify your child's teacher of any early dismissal with a note. This eliminates the secretaries from calling down to the classroom and interrupting instructional time or trying to locate your child in the building or on the playground.

If a note was not sent in and you are contacting the office to change the end of the day plans for your child, please notify the office by 3:00pm.

Lunch Visitors

We request that only if you are scheduled to volunteer in your child's classroom immediately following their lunch, that you go down with their class to the room. If you need to speak with your child's teacher, you can email them to schedule a time for that.

Attendance Information

We are now more than halfway through our first trimester! Just a friendly reminder that the final bell rings at 8:47 am, therefore, the tardy time begins at 8:47 am. Per the student handbook, we consider three (3) tardies to be equivalent to one (1) absence. Please be mindful of this when you drop off your child in the morning.

News from Physical Education

It's fall, and that means you need an update from Physical Education to help make the transition into winter even easier!!

We may still get outside for class, so it's always a good idea to send your child with a jacket.

Kids work hard in class and get thirsty, but we don't have access to a drinking fountain during lunches or when we are outside. Please send your child with a water bottle to use in class! Their name on it would be great!

Shoes are sometimes an issue when they slip off easy, can't be tightened, or have a very slippery bottom. For your child's safety and the safety of others, boots, sandals, crocs, flip flops, and high heeled shoes are not allowed during P.E. class. If your child forgets to pack other shoes, she/he will need to sit out that class to keep everyone safe. Please help your son/daughter bring athletic type shoes each day they have P.E.

Using the bathroom in P.E. can sometimes be an issue since we only have one bathroom to share with lots of people. The classroom teacher tries hard to get all the kids to the restroom before specials, but sometimes there isn't enough time. Bathroom use is always allowed, I just ask the kids to tell me first so I know when someone is gone from the classroom. Please help your child to communicate their needs with me so that I can help them!

Question of the Week

If your child's father figure hasn't signed up yet, you still have time to sign up. In order to get an accurate headcount for food for this event, please respond by Friday, October 19th.
