Sad News
This weekend we learned of the passing of Mr. Scott Mason, the longtime Coppell High School band director who touched many lives in his 25 years in Coppell ISD. I did not personally know Mr. Mason but have heard of him and his legacy and know that it will be a difficult week for many throughout our community. The district counselors are on hand this week to help anyone who needs it through this difficult time. Grief can take many different forms and we are here as additional support if you or your learner needs it.

Post High School Handbook
A message from Mr. Kennington, Counselor:
Please view NTH@C's Post-High School Handbook HERE. This handbook contains a lot of useful information related to your options after high school (Colleges, Universities, Junior Colleges, Military, Military Academies, NCAA, Apprenticeship Programs, Etc). It also contains information about ACT and SAT testing and dates, financial aid, college application deadlines, and more.
There is also a timeline that breaks down what you should be doing your Junior and Senior year for the college application process.
Although this handbook is meant more for Juniors and Seniors, it would still be good for underclassmen to review and know what to look forward to in the future.
Please take the time to go to the link and read through this document.
