Kim Hayes (Dean of Students) I am excited to be the new Dean of Students here at Bibich Elementary School this year! Previous to this school year, I have spent 5 years at Lake Central High School as a Dean of Students. I have taught all age groups, from elementary school to high school. Feel free to reach out to me if you need anything. I am looking forward to working with you all to help our children grow and have a successful school year! | Lisa Phillips (Nurse) My name is Lisa Phillips and I have been a school nurse for 12 years! I have been a middle school and elementary school nurse. I have 2 boys; one is an adult who is married and lives in Texas. The other is 16 and a junior in high school. Debbie Pavlina (Kindergarten)My first full-time teaching assignment was in 2011 at Bibich where I taught 2nd grade and it was the following year that I moved to half-day Kindergarten. In 2013 I transferred to Homan Elementary in order to be able to take a full-time Kindergarten teaching position. While I truly enjoyed my time at Homan, my heart always hoped I could one day return to Bibich because it has always felt like home and I was so grateful for this year’s transfer back to Bibich where it all began. I am a huge Cubs fan and I love spending time with my family. I am so excited to be part of the Bibich family once again! | Lindsay Jeffress (Fourth Grade) This is my 3rd year with the Lake Central School District. I have spent two years in the middle schools, both Kahler and Clark, teaching middle school science. While I love science, I truly missed the elementary classroom. This marks my 8th year as an educator, and I am happy to be in the district where I grew up. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and spent 9 years as a juvenile detention officer in Lake County. I then transitioned to teaching in hopes of making a difference in kids lives, and creating an atmosphere that encourages learning and kindness. I am happy to be part of the Bibich Bulldog family! | Stephanie Spencer (Art) This is my tenth year teaching art! I taught at Hanover schools for nine years and spent a few years at home with my three kids. It is exciting to be back in the classroom! I am teaching at Bibich and Watson Elementary schools. |
