IMPORTANT VAPING INFORMATION FOR CR FAMILIES
In an effort to heighten awareness about vaping, Council Rock will be sending out regular information on this troubling student trend to help parents/guardians understand its short and long-term effects.
From a disciplinary perspective, Administration wishes parents/guardians to fully understand that vaping in school, on school property, or at school-sanctioned events will result in suspension and may result in a 45-day student expulsion. Please see the following associated CR policies:
CR Policy 227 Controlled Substances/Paraphernalia
From a health perspective, CR Administration wants parents/guardians to understand the physical risks associated with vaping. To that end, CR families are urged to review the following Center for Disease Control link on vaping and to have conversations at home about the various negative consequences of vaping for adolescents, teens, and young adults.
