Local businesses have recently brought to our attention that Barkalow students are not representing themselves in the best way when visiting restaurant establishments on half days. Please have a conversation with your child about behavioral expectations reminding them that they represent many parties. Also, as we all know, Route 537 is a very busy intersection, so please remind your child about safety when crossing the road.

Students recently completed the NWEA MAP assessment. Scores will be posted in Genesis later this month. Students will complete the Spring administration of the assessment the week of April 18th.

Wednesday, February 1st is the first day of the 3rd marking period.

Students should check their schedules in Genesis as their Social Studies and Science classes will change. Additionally, there may be changes in their related arts courses. Students should report to their new classes on Wednesday.

Students must have a current sports physical. The last day to submit physicals and all forms is March 3rd. Physicals done 3/15/22 and after are valid for the entire spring season.

We will be collecting NEW socks to help those in need during the entire month of February. All socks collected will be donated to the Blessing Bag Brigade. Drop off is during school hours by the 6th grade doors.

There is also a Chipotle fundraiser being held on Wednesday, February 15th from 4-8 pm. Please see the image below for further information.
