Winter Break Special Edition
Happy Holidays...See You in 2020!
We Are Almost There...
It was a fun week at school as we head into the long break. Tomorrow is pajamas and a small stuffed animal day. Thank you to all of the parents who either donated items for the class party or came and volunteered. The students always enjoy getting to celebrate and spend time together. Not to mention, there were a few other annual traditions such as the visit from the Rustin Music Department (see video clip below) and buddy activities. The cold weather blast and flurries yesterday definitely reminded us that winter is upon us. Please remember to dress your child for the weather as we do our best to go outside unless the air temperature and wind, or precipitation, combine to make it too cold.
Don't forget, it is not too late to give your child's teacher or teachers a gift of gratitude this holiday season. For their hard work and dedication, you are encouraged to consider nominating your him or her for a Citadel Heart of Learning Award. The system closes on December 31st. It does not take very long at all.
