Fall Renewal
I can't believe we are already at the end of our first quarter. In our first 9 nine weeks, we have seen some great successes, we've had to make some adjustments, and we've also scratched our heads a few times as we are reminded that we are dealing with adolescent teens who often don't think through their decisions. As we enter our fall ball break, it is a time of reflection for everyone. What has been going really well and how should I celebrate it? What has not been going well? What power do I have to change it? Remember that fall break offers a chance and opportunity to return to start fresh and to make positive changes. Let us all enjoy this break and opportunity for renewal and begin fresh ideas and enegy upon our return.
Parent/Teacher Conferences Final Reminders
By the end of the day Monday, please make sure you have completed the following:
1. Give Dianne a copy of your conference schedule.
2. If you have students in your fifth period who are conferencing with someone else, please be sure to give the conferencing teachers all the pre-conference work/materials.
Administration will be providing supper on Tuesday for conferences. The menu will be pizza and breadsticks from The Ordinary along with salad.
Supervision for Last Week
This is reminder to increase our supervision and presence this last week before break. Teachers, be sure to be at your doors and moving students along in the hallways during each passing period. Pop in student restrooms regularly so they know they are being monitored. Everyone should be locking the common area doors after use...faculty restrooms, LGI room, etc.. Let's all be pro-active this week in making sure our students are where they need to be and in compliance with school rules and procedures.
