ABC Countdown!

We are having so much fun with our ABC countdown!

Next week we will be walking to the park on Wednesday to have a picnic and play. Parents are welcome to meet us at the front of the school at 9:30 and walk with their child to the park. We will return to school around 12:00. Please make sure you remember to send a lunch with your child that day if you indicated so on the permission slip. Thank you for your help with this.

Student Behavior

During the last few weeks of school it is important that students continue to work hard and practice positive behavior. Please talk with your child about the importance of working up to their academic potential and following school rules. Participating in the ABC Countdown is based on completed student work and appropriate behavior in school. Thank you for your continued support with this at home.

Library Books

Please check with your child to make sure they are keeping up with their library books. Students who lose their books will have to pay for them. Your child will not receive his/her final report card until their book is paid for.

What's coming up next week:

Next week we will be reading stories about ocean animals and the beach. The students will be reviewing year-long skills in reading and writing. In math, students will review addition and subtraction. Teachers are finishing end-of-year individual assessments and GKIDS data collections.
