Camp Cuyamaca is just a week away, and I AM SO EXCITED!!! Today, a packing supply list was sent home with your child so that you could have enough time to gather the necessary items.
Progress Reports
Progress Reports were sent home today. Please take a moment to review it with your child, sign, and return it with them next week.
Math Olympiad
Thank you so much to our fabulous parent volunteers for making our first day so successful! The kids had a fantastic time challenging each other and discussing problem solving strategies. This afternoon, your child is coming home with the challenge problems they did today, should you want to review it with them or simply want to see what they are being asked to do.

Students will continue to learn the locations of the major river systems and how they contributed to settlements in early Indian civilizations
STREAM In Action (S.I.A.)
Students will need to: Define the given problem, Research the problem, Brainstorm possible solutions, Choose the best solution, Build a model or prototype, Test their solution, Communicate their solution, and Redesign as needed. Of course, students will also have specific criteria and constraints.
