Our day officially starts at 8:15, but students can arrive any time after 7:45. When students come early they must report directly to the cafeteria where they will be offered breakfast. If 5th-8th grade students decide to eat breakfast first thing in the morning, they should bring a snack for 9:30, as this is when we deliver breakfast to their classrooms. Glover is a CEP school, so all meals are free of charge to students.
Our school day ends at 3:15. Parents can meet students at the main entrance for pickup at that time. Bus students will leave the school at 3:30 each afternoon, and will stay with their homeroom teachers until they are called to the buses.
I'm working to update our Student and Parent Handbook and will publish it on our website soon. Last year's is currently on our website though, and only a few areas will change. Please feel free to reach out with questions.
COVID Guidance
The administrative team met this week to discuss the current COVID-19 guidance provided by the AOE, and to make decisions about requirements for this school year. I've outlined a few highlights below, and I've included a letter from the superintendent in the links below, but you are all invited to join us for an online forum on Wednesday, August 18th at 6pm. This will provide you with an opportunity to have any of your questions answered.
Highlights:
- K-8 school staff and students will be required to wear masks until vaccines are available to kids of all ages and until we have 80% of our student population vaccinated
- Masks are not required when outdoors
- Masks are required on all buses
- Masks will be provided to any student or adult who doesn't have one
- We will not have social distancing requirements
- Meals will be provided in the cafeteria
- Visitors are allowed in our schools, but all must be masked until we reach our 80% vaccination rate
- Please do not send sick children to school
I had planned to attend the forum, but my son has a transition event at his new school that evening. If you have questions that are specific to Glover that don't get answered during the forum, please reach out to me.

Middle School Soccer
Glover is currently advertising for a coach, and our ability to have a team hinges upon filling this position. It's advertised on SchoolSpring and on our Facebook page. If you know someone who may be interested, please let them know about our current opening.
