MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
I have so much to share this week! If you have seen our Facebook page you know that our new logo was unveiled at our carnival! Our “reboot” of Robinwood ROAR started way back in the year with having the students vote on what type of cat we wanted to be, Jaguar won, then we had some jaguars drawn up by a graphic designer and our very own Mrs. Valens. The drawings were voted on and the winner… Mrs.Valens’s drawing! We turned over the winning Jaguar logo to Kyle Werra at Styled Aesthetic and TADA!!!!!
Now let's talk about the carnival! WOW, what a day of fun, laughter, whip cream eating and jiffy jar winning! I hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed playing the games and winning prizes. Thank you PTO for organizing this event!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bombien

If you have any friends or family in Franklin that plan to have children attend Franklin Public Schools next year, please pass this information along to them! Registering early helps to get all information in our system for planned communications.

This includes students already in Preschool Speech, Early Childhood, and 4K. All parents/guardians will be required to review your student’s data during our summer Back-To-School Online Check-In process. Any family who knows a student will not be returning for the next school year should notify your school’s main office staff.

Community, Connection and Passions
On March 8, Robinwood 4th graders participated in a day of Community, Connection and Passions. The 4th grade teachers (Mrs. Alcorn, Mrs. Hyatt, and Ms. Imhoff) along with wonderful guest teachers Mrs. Rapsch, Mrs. Dahl, and Ms. Burrows led engaging and exciting workshops. Students were able to attend 4 workshops which included Illusion Drawing, Escape Room, Notecard Tower Building, Understanding and Making Dreamcatchers, and making Pom Pom Friends. The students were able to connect with students from other classes, build community, strengthen skills, collaborate, and have FUN!!
It was a rewarding afternoon filled with lots of excitement, joy and laughter. As one 4th grader said, "This was awesome! Can we do this every month!"

MESSAGE FROM MR. BAUER
Parents, Students finished up their jump rope endurance challenge this past week and I was very excited to see how much students have grown in their rope jumping ability. We talked about challenging one selves and how mistakes are how we learn to grow, along with giving our best efforts.
In the weeks leading up to our Spring Break, all classes will be working in our Strategy and Responsible Behaviors (sportsmanship) Units. We will be playing floor hockey as our activity. Discussions about strategy will include using our teammates, passing, and moving to open space. With responsible behaviors we will discuss winning and losing, how to encourage our teammates along with giving “shout outs” at the end of class.
