I can't....
After reading Carol Dweck's work on mindset, I realized that I couldn't do many things because I wasn't willing to work at it. This may surprise you all, but I am hard headed (and that is probably putting it lightly). So why don't I tackle my inability to dance the same way I do other challenges. Why am I willing to let dancing and seran wrap defeat me when I will put my last dying breath into others. Dr. Angela Duckworth (Grit lady) has the answer and it is passion. She's right....I don't let anything that I am passionate about defeat me....I just don't quit when it comes to those areas.
So what are you passionate about? Do our kids benefit from your passions? Do your coworkers see that passion and drive?
I ask because I believe your passion will be what inspires others to be passionate. Share your passion with your kids and with us. You never know who you will inspire.
