Resources for COVID Anxiety
Hi parents, I am Michelle Schimpke, the school social worker at Bethany. This recording is meant for you to watch with your child to prompt discussion about any worries and anxiety they may be feeling regarding the pandemic. Please make sure you are watching the recording with your child. It gives some information about pandemics in general to help normalize what we are going through.
Next, we talk about how to healthily process our big emotions and some coping strategies we can use. The last part of the recording is for parents/trusted adults only and goes over some strategies you can implement for your child (or yourself!) on how to get a good night sleep in this stressful time.
I give some resources at the end, and as always, I am available via ParentSquare anytime!

Thank you!

Volunteers Needed for Cafeteria
We are now looking for volunteers to help in the cafeteria each day between 10:45 - 12:00. You would be helping the younger grades select what they want for lunch, and keeping the line moving. If you are able to commit to one day a week please contact Sue at Sue_Kropilak@beaverton.k12.or.us
