Chromebook Information and Presentations

Chromebooks:

If you were unable to pick up your child's chromebook last Friday, please contact your classroom teacher to arrange a pickup. They can be picked up during dismissal time from your child's teacher or by stopping in the front office. Students in PreK should leave their Chromebooks at home on a daily basis. In the event of a remote learning day, you will need to follow the teacher's plan to access the remote learning plan. Please see resources below to assist with chromebook usage.

Virtual Learning Presentations:

Meeting Link Login:
  • The only way for your child to be able to log in to the meeting will be if they are logged into their district issued chromebook.
  • If you are not logged in to Google under your students' email address, the meeting link will not work.

Additional Supports:

  • Find support on connecting your chromebook to Wifi here.
  • Find support on how to log your student in to the chromebook here.

REPORTING ABSENCES

If your child has to miss school due to illness or any other reason, please call 847-827-4163 to report the absence. You may make that call during the evening before the absence or anytime in the morning prior to 9:00 AM. Main office staff will attempt to call you at home or work if your child is absent from school and we have not heard from you by this time.

  • Tardy Students: If your child is late to school, please bring him/her to the main office (Door #1).

We all play a part in keeping each other safe. Please review carefully and do your part!

General policies:

  • Keep your child home if ANYONE IN THE HOUSEHOLD IS SICK.
  • If you have more than one D63 child, keep them all home if one is sick.
  • Have your student check in with the nurse on the day they return to school.
  • Signs and symptoms to look out for and reasons to keep children home would be: Fever of 100.4°F or higher, new moderate to severe headaches, new cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, new loss of sense of taste or smell, fatigue for an unknown reason, and muscle or body aches for an unknown reason.

If someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19:

  • ALL household members must isolate themselves.
  • If unable to isolate from the COVID-19 positive person, family members must quarantine after the isolation period.
  • Any students in your home must remain there until the test result is back (D63 only accepts PCR test results - antigen tests are not accepted).
