EEP Robotics Challenge Makes a Comeback!
Excite your students about engineering, technology, science and computing. Now in its second year, EngineeringUK is running the Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge and applications have just opened for the 2016/17 programme!
Student teams (aged 11-14) can learn how to build, program and control autonomous LEGO robots to complete a series of short, exciting space-themed challenges.
From assembling the crew to launching the satellite, they’ll demonstrate the skills they’ve learned at challenge events held around the nation. Teams will also research, design and present their own solution to a contemporary scientific problem – with prizes on offer to the teams that do well!
Set your students on course to discovering future careers and help put their school learning in to context – apply for the Tomorrow’s Engineers EEP Robotics Challenge. Find out more and apply at www.tomorrowsengineers.org.uk/Robotics.
Applications close:
- Schools in Scotland and Northern Ireland – Monday 6 June 2016
- Schools in England and Wales – Monday 4 July 2016
