Findley’s Tenth Annual Food Drive Kicks Off!
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH!
HELP SUPPORT THE OREGON FOOD BANK!
Findley is holding their annual Food Drive November 13th through the 17thst. Please bring in a non-perishable food item(s) to help support the Oregon Food Bank. Dollar Day will be Friday, November 17th. For every DOLLAR we collect, the OREGON FOOD BANK is able to provide 5 pounds of food to a needy family.

Learning Options Information for 2017-18
The Beaverton School District is nationally recognized for high student achievement and innovative programs. Beaverton students in grades 6-12 have the opportunity to investigate learning options that best fit their academic needs. Students can choose their neighborhood school or one of a number of small learning options. Transportation is provided.
Applications will be available starting Monday, October 23rd, 2017. All applicants must reside within the Beaverton School District boundaries. Current Beaverton School District students will be able to apply online using their student ID, once the application portal opens. Resident students not currently attending a Beaverton school will need to complete a paper application.

Sunday: 11/19 Findley Fall Beautification day.
Join us for a community service project led annually by the Pack 718 Cub Scouts where we help to make Findley look great!
Folks don’t need to attend for the whole 3hrs, come by for as long as you like….any time you and your kids can help out will benefit Findley. We will have snacks and water for the participants.
- Logistics: Findley Elementary Grounds (meet in lower parking lot) from 1pm to 4pm
- What: Rake and bag leaves, Prune bushes, Pull weeds, Pick up Litter, etc….Will cover the front, side, back areas around the school and parking lots as well as the track/playground area.
- What to Bring: Gloves, Rakes, Pruning shears, Hedge clippers, Wheelbarrows/Yard debris roll carts (Pls bring tools for you and to share with others).
- Label your items!....as they say…many rakes look alike.
- We will not have access to electricity so leave the heavy duty stuff at home.
Findley Fall Festival
Another big thank you to Dana Rodman and the entire Fall Festival Committee for coordinating another wonderfully festive evening. Thanks to all who attended as well.
