This half-day session will aid Social Studies teachers in the creation of lessons with a focus on the stories of the past. We will look at the Social Studies TEKS for a unit and make connections that are engaging, relevant, timely, and above all else… fascinating. The morning session will focus on K-5 and the afternoon session will focus on 6-12, however teachers are encouraged to sign up for the full day as all the information is beneficial.
