End Child Labor!!!
Education and a job? When do they have time to be kids?
Startling statistics
*In 1900, 18% of all American workers were under the age of 16.
*In southern cotton mills, 25% of the employees were below the age of fifteen, with half of these children below age twelve.
*Most children worked long hours with low pay and working conditions were often very unsafe and very unsanitary.
What You Can Do To Support The Cause:
*Join a reform group against child labor such as the NCLC (national child labor committee).
*Help create posters and other convincing advertisements against child labor.
*Let your child focus on his/her education; Don't make them work!
