A Chance to Give Back
May 2nd, at DMS/SVMS Track
Diaper and Outdoor Toy Drive for the Liberty Early Childhood Center
Our kiddos have been extremely lucky to have such amazing staff and parental support that we were hoping to help them give back to others. We are having a drive for the Early Childhood Center in the Liberty district. This school services over 340 students from all over the Liberty school district. They also support the Parents as Teachers program which has far reaching effects into many households in our district.
A Service Opportunity for your student!
Parents, are you looking for a service opportunity for your student? Are they available to stay after school on May 2nd to help collect, deliver, decorate, and box up the donations we will be collecting? We would love for your student to be able to help us out with this venture. We have many opportunities for them to serve with this event. We will meet by the back lot doors to assign roles, discuss behavior expectations, and organize before the donations actually come in. We would love to see them, and you if you have the time! Here is the sign up genius to reserve a spot!
What to donate?
The center has many outdoor needs for their kiddos. Feel free to pick one or many to drop by at our donations site. Their two biggest needs at this point are adjustable bike helmets and diapers/pull ups! Here are some specific examples!
- Adjustable Helmets for bike play (found at Target or Walmart)
- Diapers (all sizes)
- Pull Ups
- Dump trucks for sand play
- Scoopers for sand play
- Sidewalk Chalk
- Playground balls
If you have any great condition Trikes, 3 wheeled scooters or sturdy preschool age ride-on toys that you would like to donate those would be accepted as well!
Donations Accepted Tuesday, May 2nd in the back DMS/SVMS School Parking Lot by the . 3:00-6:00.
We will be accepting donations from 3:00 until the conclusion of the Battle for the Paddle-Track event. Please feel free to bring them with your student or drive by and drop them off during that time.
