The Sons of Liberty
The Revolutionary Terrorists of America
The Begining
This organization formed in Boston in the year of 1765. The founders of this group were known as the Loyal Nine. However this group would not stay with only 9 members. Throughout the next couple of months it grew a lot, and eventually as it grew it took on the name we all know today the "Sons of Liberty".
The Actions of the "Sons"
One of the better known early act of the "Sons of Liberty" is when they took the effigy of Andrew Oliver. The people agreed with this statement made by the "Sons" so they burned down his property, and destroyed what remained of the effigy. They are also well known for The Boston Tea Party.
