Harrison Happenings
September 30-October 3
This Week in Room 300...
I hope all students enjoyed a Monday off! :) Since this week is a shorter week than normal, we have a lot to fit in! We will be covering letters Q-T and shapes. As we are nearing the end of the alphabet, we are nearing the end of the quarter. We will be assessing students very soon on their letters, and it is important that students master that skill before moving on to any other skills. We will continue to work on our sight words in our lightning word notebooks. Please continue to monitor your student's homework to be sure that they are completing everything on the homework signature sheet before signing it.
Some other skills to be practicing before report cards:
-Counting to 25 without skipping numbers
-Counting 20 objects without skipping numbers
Fall Festival Spirit Week

Tuesday: Camo Day
Wednesday: Team Day
Thursday: Neon Day

Field Trip
You should have received the information about our Field Trip coming up on Thursday, October 16th to Callaham Farms. The field trip is $9.00 for both students and adults. We need your payment before we will take up your forms (this helps us keep everything together). Only 5 parents can ride the bus, and we will be randomly drawing those parents. We will notify all parents to let them know whether they are riding the bus or following in their car. We will send home more information as the trip gets closer, but please get your money and forms in by next Friday, October 10th.
