CMS East Parent Counselor Corner
“Be real, unique, yourself, true, honest, kind, happy."
September 12-16, 2022
Week at a Glance
Week 4...BEHIND US!! The first 7th and 8th grade football and volleyball games are underway. What an example of #CHOOSE YOUR ATTITUDE from our FISH PHILOSOPHY. The students work as a unit, using individual skills, and whether the outcome be a W or L, they learn a lesson. "Success is never so interesting as the struggle - not even to the successful."
Ms. Erickson and I loved Fun Fridays this week! The music and fun vibe from the 6th graders is the best! It is great to watch them evolve these first weeks of middle school.
MIDDLE SCHOOL COUNSELOR TIP
On Wednesday, September 14th at Curriculum Night, Ms. Erickson and Ms. Lindquist will speak on THRIVING, NOT JUST SURVIVING MIDDLE SCHOOL @ 5:15pm in the cafeteria. We look forward seeing you.
