Character Counts - Trustworthiness

Greetings Science Educators,

This Wednesday, February 10th, we kick-off our next Character Counts lesson and would like to thank you in advance for participating in this lesson with your classes. We know many of you are in high gear with the PARCC coming up in April, but we would ask that you to continue with a Character Counts lesson on the topic of TRUSTWORTHINESS. A sample lesson is attached to this email. As you will see, there is a Word document detailing the lesson (this file can be opened by clicking "view" or "download" from the email so that lesson can be printed for your records). Everything needed for the lesson should be available to you in your classrooms. For those of you who have contacted Dr. Clark regarding alternate lesson plans, please proceed with those that were approved – we applaud you for integrating character into your curriculum.

Thank you for your support of character education in our school,

-The Wildcats in Action Team

A special thank you to Mrs. Karvan and our guests from Ocean County Public Works and Department of Solid Waste who presented to JHS students on Thursday, February 4. JHS staff and students are examining ways to improve recycling habits in the JHS.
