October 18, 2019
On October 24, you will have the opportunity to meet with your child's teachers during Parent/Teacher Conferences. We highly encourage all of our families to participate in these conferences and learn about the progress your child has made so far this school year. This gives you the opportunity to talk with your child's teachers, address any concerns you may have, and discuss your child's progress for the rest of the school year. Please follow the directions given to you by your child's school to sign up for a time slot for Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Our students enjoyed their delicious apples!

Willowcreek PLTW learns programming through Spheros
Mr. Weaver's 7th grade Project Lead the Way class at Fegely Middle School recently used their Spheros they received from their Portage Township Education Foundation grant! The Spheros allowed the students to explore basic programming while working on problem-solving and teamwork skills. Thank you to PTEF for supporting our PLTW students! #PortageProud
Myers kindergarten students learn with "Lots of Leaves"
The kindergarten classes at Myers Elementary School had an in-school field trip with Michelle Bensen from the Porter County Soil and Water Conservation Program to use their five senses and learn about "Lots of Leaves." Students heard a story about leaves, explored the feeling of leaves, smelled evergreen trees, examined the look of the various edges and shapes of leaves, and listened to the crunch of the dried leaves that have fallen from the trees. Each child received their own magnifying glass to be curious and see the details up close of each leaf. Thank you to the Porter County Soil and Water Conservation for bringing this awesome program to Myers!
