- Please see the interest form here and fill it out
Strackfest 3-6-24 (Spring Open House)
Strackfest will be here before you know and we need EXPERIENCES for our parents and students to bid on. We are busy contacting businesses to gather items for the silent auction and restaurants to provide samples.
- We would love to have EXPERIENCE items in our silent auction like we’ve done in past years. Parents and students love these, and they have always been our highest selling items. Some ideas are lunch at school with a teacher, art lesson, baseball lesson, gaming during lunch.
- If you are able to donate an item or experience to the silent auction please complete this form below by Friday, February 20. The PTO will prepare items for the silent auction, no need to buy a basket or prepare a bid sheet. If you are donating items to the silent auction, please drop off your items at the Strack front office by Friday, February 23rd.

York with All Things Money
Hey guys, with the process beginning for our Financial Department becoming centralized, there will be more modifications to pervious procedures. Please remember we are moving away from Campus PO's and moving to more centralized purchasing. Please reference Finance & Club Expectations for refreshing and/or updates on the purchasing process. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to make an appointment for us to discuss further.
All quotes must now contain the KISD vendor and bid number or the Co-Op information. This information should be known by the vendor to include when submitting their quotes, but just in case, make sure to remind them when requesting a quote. I just learned of this information yesterday upon submitting a requisition, if this information is not included, the quote will be rejected until it contains said information. Which will delay your order.
It is that time of the year to start consolidating budgets. All departments with budgeted funds will need to have all remaining funds allocated by March 25, 2024, as all budgeted funds requisition deadline is April 5, 2024, save for warehouse orders. If any funds not allocated with department budgeted funds after March 25, 2024, they will be transferred to the Strack general budget for campus use. All departments with Activity Funds, the requisition deadline is May 1, 2024, save for warehouse orders.
All OPEN budgeted PO’s will NOT roll over with this (23-24) years encumbered budgeted funds as they have in the past. Any open PO’s that the item/service will not be received prior to June 30, 2024, will either need to be canceled and reordered with 24-25 budgeted funds or the PO can roll over but will be forced to use 24-25 budgeted funds with the previously 23-24 encumbered funds lost. This does not apply to Activity Funds; however, it is strongly urged to make sure all items/services are received prior to the close of the fiscal year on June 30, 2024.
Additionally, it is recommended that all p-card purchase close by May 31, 2024, to ensure effortless reconciling of the 23-24 fiscal year.
AMAZON IS NOW OPEN YEAR-ROUND. Only one stipulation, we will not be able to place orders a week before a break to eliminate delivery issues. Please remember Target, Hobby Lobby, Lowes, Academy, Dollar Tree or Dollar Store, are no longer available for us to purchase at.
REMINDER students are ONLY allowed to make payments before school and after school in the Financial Office. Do not send students down during class time. They will be turned away and sent back to class.
