How do I sign up for Parent-Teacher conferences?
If you need assistance registering, stop in and see Mrs. Gravley or Mrs. Glade in the office so they can help you.
When will families get Progress Reports for their student(s)?
What MakerSpace donations could Franklin use?
Any sort of building materials:
Screw driver sets
Left over PVC pipe
These items do not have to be new, gently used will do.
Have another idea for a donation? Email Media Specialist Staci Waltman.
Donations can be dropped off in the office.
Thank you in advance for helping us to grow our MakerSpace.
What is the service project Franklin students are participating in?
Beginning on Friday, November 4 and continuing through Thursday, November 10, Franklin students and staff will be participating in dress up days and the Echo Food Shelf Stuff A Truck.
All students and staff are encouraged to participate in our dress up days.
Friday, November 4 Pajama Day
Monday, November 7 Hat Day
Tuesday, November 8 College Wear Day
Wednesday, November 9 Crazy attire
Thursday, November 10 Falcon wear or school colors
During these five days, we are asking families who are able to donate food for the Echo Food Shelf’s Stuff A Truck. Each classroom will be collecting food from their students to be donated to the Echo Food Shelf. Please consider donating as your family is able.
Thanks for your help in enabling your child(ren) to participate in the dress up days and food drive.
How will I know if school is delayed, dismissed early or cancelled due to weather?
To check information about school being delayed, dismissed early or cancelled, you can:
Call: The District Information Line at 386-4777. HINT: If you save it to your phone your kids can check it and not bother you at 6 am.
Watch: WCCO (Ch 4), KSTP (Ch 5), FOX (Ch 9), KARE (Ch 11), KEYC (Ch 12)
Listen: KMSU (89.7 FM), KXLP (94.1 FM), KDOG (96.7 FM), KEEZ (99.1 FM), KXAC (100.5 FM), KRRW (101.5), KYSM (103.5 FM), WCCO (830 AM), KTOE (1420 AM)
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE TO SEE IF SCHOOL IS CANCELLED OR RELEASING EARLY. Our school phone lines tie up quickly when an early closing is announced so be sure you have your Snow Emergency Form current as we will follow the directions you have given us on that sheet.
District text messages with reminders and announcements. You can receive text messages to remind you about things such as two-hour late starts and inform you of weather related changes. Subscribe using this link.
Please remember that ACES, our after school childcare program, does not operate when we close due to inclement weather.
* When the weather causes school to start two hours late, breakfast will not be served.
What is pictured above?
* Not a scientifically verified fact, but it is a fact that we have a lot of lost stuff.
Stop in before, during or after conferences to locate your child's lost items. After conferences, we'll be donating these to charity.
