Habits at Home: Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw

To Sharpen the Saw means to take care of yourself and your family. There are four areas that must be in balance to keep you and your family feeling at their best: physical – taking care of the body to live, mental – taking care of our minds to learn, emotional – taking care of our heart to love, and spiritual – taking care of our soul to leave a legacy. Here's a Sharpen the Saw Family Worksheet to help your family as you put Habit 7 into practice.

Nurse's Notes

Dear Lone Star Families,

With Governor Abbott's order to re-open Texas, there is even more information flying around. It can be very confusing about what to do. Please check out links for latest legit info from our nation, our state and our county.

The CDC web page below will take you to the most recent information. It is updated daily. They have guidelines for a dentist visit, FAQ relating to travel and children, and an updated Covid symptoms list among other topics. The Texas Department of State Health Services link has a list of minimum recommended health protocols for various locations during re-opening. The Montgomery County Public Health District site has lots of info about risk of Covid and local testing info.

Being most accurately informed will keep our families safe and healthy.

Please check out the reliable websites for the most accurate current info:

I am available by email for individual questions and concerns.
