Information Regarding Changing Cohorts
*** If your student is already in cohort A, B, or C and you wish for them to come to school 5 days per week, you DO NOT have to fill out this survey. Please note that, starting April 26, there is NO OPTION to have students attend school in-person two days per week: either Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday.
*** If your student is already in cohort D (remote learning) and you want them to remain there, you DO NOT have to fill out this survey.
*** You only need to complete this survey if you are requesting a change in learning models.
- This request will remain in effect for the remainder of the school year (until June 18, 2021)
- If you request a change to full-remote learning or in-person learning, your child may not have the same teacher to whom he or she is currently assigned, and, depending on their current elective courses, the student may require a different elective if transitioning to full remote learning. Once final cohort assignments are established, student schedules and teacher assignments will not change for the remainder of the school year.
- Per DESE guidance, in-person proximities in the classrooms may range from 3-6 feet.
- It is the district’s intent to bring as many HS students as feasible back to school full-time before the end of the school year.
All protocols for sanitization of our schools will continue to be deployed during the day and during the night shifts.
All mitigating protocols to prevent the spread of the virus (mask wearing, hand sanitizing, social distancing) will continue to be a priority in our schools.
All requests are subject to the District's ability to reallocate personnel resources. When/if requests are granted, further information will be provided to you. We hope to provide as much notice as feasible.
***Please DO NOT fill out the survey form if you are NOT requesting a change in your child's learning model.
Note: The HHS Parent Survey for Changing Cohorts will close on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
