Wonderful Danish Students Seeking Host Families in the US
Sarah From Denmark
Sarah is a 15 year old girl who lives in Denmark with her parents. Her mother is from Thailand, which makes Sarah half-Thai. Sarah says she has a wonderful mom and an amazing dad. Her parents are so great that it's fine she doesn't have any siblings or pets. "I also have my friends to have fun with." Sarah and her friends spend time together at cafes, shopping, or just spending time together at home. "When my friends need someone I'm always there to support them." One of Sarah's favorite hobbies is dancing, she has been dancing since she was 7 years old. "Dance is a big part of who I am and every time I hear music, my feet just can't stop moving." At school, Sarah's favorite subject is English--and always has been. "I love learning a new language, and I think it's because I'm a quick learner." One of the reasons she wants to come to the US is to improve her English and learn to speak it fluently. Sarah has known since 8th grade that she wanted to become an exchange student. She is a very positive and outgoing person and this is something that she really wants to do, "I just hope that is going to happen." Sarah has been working on her baking skills so she can bake you a cake when she arrives! "It means so much that you will think about having me as your exchange student for a year."
