Dear Strath Haven High School Community,

Today, during all three lunches, our students were able to participate in the Activities Fair. Approximately 50 clubs/activities were on hand to share information about their groups. Participating in a club or activity is a critical component in the success of a student's social-emotional and academic well-being. We highly encourage all students to join at least one club/activity. They should join a group that helps highlight one of their passions. I reminded all of the students during the opening week assemblies that it is never too late to become involved. It is better to be involved in one club/activity or sport than to not do anything at all.

Have a great weekend,

Dr. Hilden

During this two-night event, your students will have a chance to see the many options there are to choose from. There are more than 100 historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), so we’ll help them compare and find the schools that deserve a spot on their college list.
