Principal Update

Dear Families,

Welcome to the 2020-21 School Year! We know this year will look a little different than a typical school year but we are confident our students will have an amazing time at LLC. Please read through the information below for the beginning of the year procedures and policies. In addition, please look for a letter from me in your home mailbox with information on your selected model (Group A, Group B, or Remote) as well as other information.

The LLC school day is from 8:00 to 12:00.

Masks Are Required.

Students and staff are required to wear a face-covering or mask at all times in our school buildings and on school buses. If a student forgets their face covering, a disposable mask will be provided. Students will take "mask breaks" outdoors in a safe and controlled manner at coordinated times during the school day. We recommend that students bring an extra mask or two each day, stored in a Ziploc bag or other sanitary containers. Cloth masks should be washed after use; be sure to dry thoroughly before wearing.

Home School Association (HSA)

LLC Preschool’s Home & School Association (HSA) is open to parents of all children in the school! We invite new and returning families to participate in the HSA and join us in this important organization. It’s a great way to get involved with the school and your child’s educational experience. Please see the link for more information.

Remote Instruction and Technology Devices

We have purchased a digital component of our curriculum which includes a family communication component that allows teachers to easily share with families weekly lessons, videos, links, and messages.

Please know that you can access our digital components of the curriculum and google meets with a smartphone as well. Devices are not for online games as this is not part of our curriculum.

Devices are limited in the preschool program. If you are in need of a device, please submit your request to preschooltech@msdk12.net with your name, child's name, school, and classroom teacher.

This Community Rocks!

We have had some wonderful surprises these last few days. Staples in Morristown donated two big boxes of school supplies. They are also offering a VIP timeslot on 9/5 from 10:00-1:00 for parents and teachers to shop for school supplies. Check out this event for great deals!

Our local Girl Scouts are also putting together home kits for our LLC students. These items and items purchased by LLC will be available soon for pick up!
