Katie Summer Schedule
I will take off from June 30 through July 12. You are welcome to text me during that time but I won't have my work brain on.
I will be back "on the clock" starting July 13, in band camps, admin preplanning, New Teacher Orientation, etc. but you can definitely get me. For the most part, the general rule of thumb will be to text me.
July Leadership Zoom Schedule
See the schedule and the topics so you can get prepared. This year will look different so we need to be prepared).
I will share one singular Zoom Link for the day and when it is your time, you will just pop on. That way, we can collaborate between levels if needed.
Stay tuned for those links.
Free PL
EdCamps are "unconference" models where the attendees determine the topic and peer lead on topics of interest to you.
July Leadership Zooms
This year, obviously everything will look a little different and that includes these meetings.
For Music Leadership: On the 8th (music leadership day), I will be in the car riding to head to New Orleans to see my family. This day will be a chance to touch base before band camps start and also a chance for elementary music to share with MS band what they have prepared). I have only allotted an hour per group and will be cutting things off quicker if we don't need the time. (I WILL SHARE ONE ZOOM LINK IN YOUR EMAIL AND TEAMS SOON)
July 8 Zooms - Music leadership (Some overlap so elem can meet with MS band)
- 10:00 - 11:00a.m. - Marching Band Check-In
- 11:00 -12:00p.m.. - Elementary Music
- 11:40-12:40a.m. - MS Band
- 2:00 - 3:00p.m. - Choral Leadership (MS/HS)
For Visual Art leadership, we will follow the same format as music in that I am only allowing for one hour each and will cut it off sooner as needed. Also, notice your schedule overlaps by 20 minutes so that we can tier plan if needed at the tale end of each of your sessions with the next level group.
Visual Art Leadership (we will overlap by 20 minutes in each to tier plan)
July 14 - Elementary Art Leadership at 10:00-11:00a.m.
July 14 - Middle School Art Leadership at 10:40-11:40a.m.
July 14 - High School Art leadership at 11:40a.m. - 12:40p.m.
Theatre Arts Leadership:

Calling all Music Educators - We need Help in Paulding
Music Teachers at the elementary and middle schools, please consider helping us with band camps this year. Typically, we have band boosters, volunteers, former students, etc. come back and help out at band camp at each of our high schools but this year, thanks to our friend C'Rona, we cannot do that. We are still having band camps and that is a massive blessing but we are not able to open our camps to anyone outside of our employees or students.
Meals for Team Thomas
Ahem - We have a meal sign up to share! Please consider taking a minute and signing up for something scrumptious to bring Mike and Jess during this time.
