Silver Creek Weekly Newsletter
December 11- December 15
Dear Silver Creek Families
We are excited for another great week of school. As a reminder, interims for marking period 2 will be submitted tomorrow, Monday, December 11. As we approach the final weeks prior to the winter break, it is essential for us, as a community, to uphold the values that make Silver Creek a nurturing learning environment. I am committed to fostering an atmosphere where empathy and accountability thrive. Most importantly, I want every student to understand that making mistakes is a part of the learning process, and it's our collective responsibility, as adults, to be advocates for them as they navigate through challenges, learn, and evolve. In addition, it is equally important that students learn to support one another and are held accountable for their actions when their behaviors do not align with our expectations as a school.
We are committed to being an antiracist and antibias school where we will continue to create a diverse, inclusive, and respectful community. Let us work together to instill our core values of Empathy, Equity and Excellence and to reinforce the importance of treating one another with kindness and understanding. Thank you for your continued support.
Let's make it a great week, Huskies!
