News From Mrs. Bethune:
Hello all,
We had a great week of school. The Veterans Day Program today was wonderful. Thanks to the choir for their singing, the students who read about What a Veteran Means to them, and to the entire student body for taking the picture with the giant American Flag. We had a great time and it was a blessing to be in the presence of such amazing Veterans. The flag wall is such a great memorial for all those of your family and friends who have or are serving our country. Thank you is not enough for their sacrifices for our freedom.
Good News! Our new main doors are in and the company is planning on starting install on Monday. During this time, we ask that you use the gym door entrance as the main doors to the school. (Please see map below). Please understand that we do not have a buzzer at those doors but will be watching with our cameras to help get you inside if you come outside of our typical entrance or exit times. Also, please feel free to call the office and let us know you are coming and we will watch for you. They are estimating it taking up to 3 days to complete the project. We will let you know when we are back to normal! Thank you for your help and patience with this process.
The students have been busy helping the teachers work on the STARS baskets for the fundraiser a week from today. The fundraiser will be raising money to pay for the remainder of the money needed for the playground. We are so excited to begin this project and hope that enough money is raised for us to do so. We hope that you can attend the night and support this wonderful event.
Have a great weekend! Thank you to all of the Veterans in your family!
