Students were busy this week learning about fractions in groups as they research and create representations of their thinking and understanding.
Learning Liaison’s Corner This week: Pineapple Tidbits
Hospitality feels good. Inviting people “in” is a symbol of abundance. It is our mentality of sharing and caring and opening our doors to each other that makes us feel connected. Pineapple visits are all about give and get! Teachers "give" when they invite others in and model good instruction.

Housekeeping
Please be sure that you are charting your students' progress throughout the year. One it gives you a pulse of where your students are (real time) and allow you to provide tutorial opportunities in a timely manner. The other reason this is important is that it gives you an opportunity to have a conversation with the parents about their child's standing, what specifically is causing the deficit, and when your tutorials are so that the student can fill gaps.
