The annual Scholastic Book Fair will be here before you know it! Mark your calendars for December 2 - 6. The fair will be held in the Media Center, and it will be open from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 8:00 am - 1:00 pm on Friday.
Family Night will take place on Thursday, December 5th from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. There is a home boys' basketball game that night, so come early to shop and stay to watch some hoops!
Shop the book fair online or with the Scholastic Book Fair app!
Prefer to shop online? The online fair will be available from November 22 - December 6. Click here to browse. All orders will be shipped to the school after December 9th, and we will contact you for pickup.
Scholastic has also rolled out an app to make shopping the fair, finding age appropriate materials, and creating wish lists easier! Click here for more information. Your child could bring his/her device to the fair, scan items into a wish list, and you can purchase them online or during Family Night. All items purchased through the app will be processed as online fair orders and shipped to the school after December 9th.
Destiny Quest App
Destiny Quest now has an app! Every student in the district already has an account in this software, which allows them to search the library catalog and complete research. Students log in the same way they log in to Destiny to check their account. Click here for instructions on logging in. With the new app, students can:
- Search the library catalog anytime, anywhere
- Request a hold on any item in the CMS catalog
- See a list of the most popular titles in the Media Center
- See a list of new items added to the Media Center's collection
- Research using Webpath Express
- Use resource lists that teachers or the Media Specialist to find materials discussed in class
The app is free and available for Android, Apple, and Amazon products. Click here to download and read more about the app.
