Would music help plants to grow?

Joshua Block

My hypothesis is that classical music could help the growth of plants.

I'm not sure why I think this, but it's a gut feeling.

Mozart was played for a group of various plants, and another group of plants were placed in a silent room.

The plants were fed the same amount of water, and kept at the same temperature for 5 days. The plants that were placed in the room with Mozart on loop for 5 days straight were noticeably more grown than the plants kept in the silent room.

real stuff. I mean, who could make this up?

Some Mozart songs that were played for the plants would include

Symphony No. 40

Don Giovanni

The Marriage of Figaro

The Magic Flute

Requiem
