1. Students should mark themselves present in the Google Classrooms every school day before noon. Click the link for directions here.
2. Reach out to your teachers if you need assistance. Their office hours are posted in the Google Classrooms.
3. Make sure you join the special area Google Classrooms also. The class codes are below:

Kindergarten Registration Online
Beginning on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM, Methacton School District will begin an online process for Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-2021 school year. At that time, parents may go to methacton.org, and click on the link that will take them through the registration process. Please note that at this time, the process is intended for Kindergarten Registration only.

PARENT GUIDE TO CHROME EXTENSIONS
There are two Google Chrome Extensions we would like to describe for your use at home. If your student is using a MSD Chromebook, these extensions are already available on the device. If you are using a personal device and would like to use these extensions, please see the directions below. Apple products, iPads, iPhones, etc., cannot use these extensions. Any extension is optional and not required for you to complete the work assigned, but it may make the lessons easier to manage.

School Counselor News-Small Group Sessions
There are many benefits of small group counseling including: feeling you are not alone, receiving a different perspective from peers, feeling motivated by peers, and development and practice of social skills. Group members will select a goal to work on and develop strategies for achievement. Small group sessions will be scheduled via Zoom for students who would benefit from counseling session with their peers. If interested, email LShaw@methacton.org your consent for your child to participate, and include specific concerns or goals for your child. Students will be placed in groups based on the need, topic and/or age. Groups will be no larger than 6 students and may be scheduled by K-2nd grades and 3-4 grades depending on level of request.
When logging in to Zoom for small groups please be mindful of the following guidelines: Parents will be required to follow the MSD guidelines and provide consent for their children to participate; Zoom session will begin promptly and last 30 minutes; There will be no recording or screen shots permitted; Please be mindful of your surroundings to do your best to set up an area to avoid being interrupted or disturbed as only the participants in the group session is permitted to attend and confidentiality will be respected.
