Week 28
Week 28 Notes
This week, we returned to virtual learning at RMS. I've spent quite a few hours meeting with different staff members virtually and know that they are putting a tremendous amount of effort into this transition. I also know our students are putting together some amazing work on their assignments and really making a quick transition to virtual learning.
While we are working hard to create the best learning experience we can for your child, please know that we appreciate all that you are doing as parents to support your child. This is a very stressful time for many reasons and the teachers we all want to make this transition as smooth and seamless as possible. While the staff might not be available in person, we are more than willing to meet virtually to support your child.
Question of the Week
This week, please make sure to check in with your child regarding virtual learning. You may want to ask "Which teachers have you met with virtually?" or "What feedback have you gotten from your teachers about your assignments?" Our hope is that your child is able to navigate virtual learning and make contact with their teachers with minimal prompting and support.
Please stay safe and make sure to reach out with questions or concerns. We're thinking about our families every day and hope you all are doing well.
Thanks,
Jeff Carron

Virtual Learning Feedback Form
Please take a moment to complete the short form and provide feedback to the RMS staff. The more information and feedback we have, the more accurately we can manage the expectations and provide support to your child.
Communication During Our School Closure

United States Census 2020
The 2020 Census is more than a population count. It's an opportunity to shape your community's future.
Census results have an impact on planning and funding for health clinics and highways, fire departments and disaster response, education programs such as Head Start and college tuition assistance, and so much more.
You can inspire others. Tell everyone—your friends and family, neighbors and co-workers—that you will complete the census, and that they should respond now, too!
