If you would like to help support the Festival which hosts an entire day of community fun, please review our list on sign up genius of needed donations. Parents from every Lovejoy campus are invited to review our list and sign up to support the Festival. Check our website for limited volunteer opportunities as well.

FIne Arts Festival Concert Information

It’s hard to believe it is almost Thanksgiving! We wanted to take a moment to send out some information about our next concert. Our next concert is our Lovejoy Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, December 5, 2015. The Lovejoy Fine Arts Festival showcases excellence in our K-12 performing and visual art programs. Each year our performing arts groups provide concerts, theatre programs and dance reviews while the visual art programs set up art galleries and working studios. It is a wonderful event that brings together our community to celebrate and give back to those in need. Please take a moment to read the information regarding when the orchestra will be performing at this required event.

All violin and viola players will be required to bring a tuner and clip mic to class every day starting when we return to school in January. We have a small set of tuners that cello and bass musicians will be allowed to use during class time. We no longer have enough tuners for everyone to use at once. Please email Joey Sloan at if you have any questions.

Boy's Shirt Exchange

Orchestra boys are required to wear pleated wing tip tuxedo shirts during their performances. The average shirt is only worn twice a year! The shirt typically costs $30.00.

Since our boys grow quickly, shirts are purchased almost every year. This venue will give you an opportunity to sell, buy, or donate a gently used shirt! If you are selling the shirt, list the price and size including youth/adult size. If you find a shirt you want, please contact the parent below to make the transaction. ONCE YOU'VE SOLD YOUR SHIRT, EDIT YOUR ENTRY AS SOLD.

If you are donating a shirt to the Lovejoy Booster Club, please send the shirt to your Orchestra teacher and I will make them available on this site. Your child will receive a form for your donation.

Thanks for participating in recycling our shirts!
