Message from the Principal

Dear Families,

We have been blessed with a wonderful first month of school. Our students and staff are doing everything they can to stay safe and provide your child with engaging learning opportunities. Having our students back in school is terrific. We look forward to October 13 when all of our students will return.

We will continue doing all of the things we can to prevent the spread of viruses. Our students are doing well wearing masks, social distancing when possible, and washing their hands often. Continue to encourage your child to practice these safety measures. Keep sending water bottles each day. (Please only put water in the bottles.)

As we work on catching students up from the long period of no in person schooling, please work with your child's teacher on things you can practice at home to speed things up. Reading to or with your child each night helps increase their learning. Together we can make a bigger impact on your child's progress.

Homecoming is October 9th. We have an early release for students that day. Students are welcome to wear mums, mustang shirts, football jerseys, or cheer outfits. Let's have fun showing our mustang pride!

This newsletter has a lot of important information. Please keep reading and scrolling until the end. Thank you for working with us to make this year Better Together!

Pre-K Openings

We have several openings in our PK 4 and PK 3 classes. If you have a child that turned 3 or 4 by September 1 and he/she is not in school we would love for him/her to attend! Please contact the school and set up a time to register your child. If you need help with supplies or clothing our CIS support can help! The earlier we can start your child in school the more prepared he/she will be for kindergarten. Students that attend Pre-K perform significantly higher in school than those that do not attend. We want your child to be kinder ready!

Hat Day was fun!

These students are celebrating their future career or college!
