BA BAnd to Perform at City Year Opening Day
The Bryan Adams BAnd is invited to perform at the opening day for City Year. City Year is a national non-profit education organization that recruits young people to serve in urban schools for a year as additional classroom supports. The organization is in 27 cities nationwide and this year marks the first full year in Dallas.
The BA BAnd will play pep rally music outside Union Station as guests arrive. Dignitaries include former Secretary of Education and President of the Bush Center Ms. Margaret Spellings who will be speaking, a number of DISD officials including Israel Cordero, and community leaders like United Way CEO Jennifer Sampson and Celanese CEO Mark Rohr. We are expecting 200-250 guests are expected, This a great opportunity for the BA BAnd to showcase their talents in front of regional community leaders.
