What we are learning

Math- In math we will be expanding our knowledge about fractions to include equivalent fractions and comparing fractions with different denominators.

Reading- Students will use a flexible range of strategies to monitor and construct meaning across a variety of genres.

Science- We are developing our understanding of food chains. We are learning the sequence of a food chain and the roles of producers and consumers within a habitat/environment.

Social Studies- We are finishing our research and working on making a timeline of the important events their person did. The focus is on how they helped to shape community.

Writing- In writing we are continuing with Imaginative stories. We have worked on strong settings, strong catchy leads, and how to write an ending. We will be focusing on revising and editing practice to prepare for the upcoming Grammar DCA.
