Aside from the fact that they're prime prey for the so-called "Erasers" that are wicked wolf-like creatures with a taste for flying humans. They're mission is to rescue Angel from the malicious mutants. Infiltrate the secret facility to track down the flock's missing parents. And get revenge on an evil traitor.
The main character in Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson is Maximum Ride, also known as Max. Max is a fourteen year old girl who has escaped from a secret scientific facility known as the School. Although Max is only fourteen, she is more or less the leader of the group of refugees and the authority figure over her adopted family, which includes Fang, Iggy, Gazzy, Nudge, and Angel. Only Gazzy and Angel are related by blood but Max considers them all to be her family.
Why I like it & why you should read it
I like this book because it's cool and suspenseful. You should read it because it is a fantastic book, once you pick it up and start reading you just can't put it down your going to wonder what will happen next. I wasn't always a fan of James Patterson, but after I read the first book, I had to figure out how the series is going to end.
