Board of Education Regular Meeting - July 9
Franklin County Health Commissioner, Joe Mazzola will be joining the Zoom meeting to discuss COVID-19 and the guidance for reopening of schools. Dr. Jessica Mamais will share an overview of the parent survey results regarding the upcoming school year. Superintendent Sawyers will outline an overview of educational options for a safe return to school in person in August or a new 100% online learning option for students.
The meeting will be live streamed on the district's YouTube channel. Public comments to the board are limited to five minutes and may be submitted to Board President, John McClelland at mcclelland.3@napls.us by noon on July 9, 2020. Please include “public comment” in the subject line of your email if you wish for your comments to be read during public participation during the meeting.

City to Share Strategic Plan Recommendations at Virtual Community Workshop
As a result of the generous support and participation of residents and business owners, draft recommendations for the Engage New Albany Strategic Plan Update are ready to be shared with the public at the City’s final community workshop. Register here for the plan presentation and Q&A webinar on Thursday, July 9, from 6 – 7:30 pm. Following the meeting, the community will have the opportunity to offer final feedback through an online survey before the draft plan is completed and sent to City Council for review and approval.
Public participation has been crucial in shaping a shared vision for the future that improves the community’s quality of life and protects investment.
