The Weekly Eagle
Week of February 15th
FFA TEACHERS AND STAFF MEMBERS ARE THE BEST!!!!
Benchmark Testing
I would like to take this time to commend all of the teachers and staff who assisted in making this past week of benchmark testing a success. All testing went along smoothly with no major incidents reported. All answer documents have been scanned and we will be going over data this week. For those who are familiar with sports, this is considered our halftime. All teams get a chance to assess their performance of the 1st half, analyze the data collected and make game time adjustments going into the 2nd half. We are at that point so let's go out here with our game faces on and proclaim VICTORY!!!!

FFA Soocer
Coach Mitchell and the FFA Soccer Boys are Undefeated going into District play. The Boys played this past Saturday at Life OC field against Uplift Summit and handed them a beatdown to set the tone for this district season! The Soccer team has big expectations this year coming off of a very strong first season last year. Like Mr. P used to tell me..."We are with you win or tie Coach." Now that's some pressure, but for real Coach Mitchell...congratulations on a great start are we are looking forward to big things from the squad this year.

Boys Basketball
Coach Johnson and the FFA Boys Basketball team faced off against Life Waxahachie this past Friday night for our last home game of the season. The boys fought hard but couldn't pull out the victory, but that won't stop us from our UIL State title run!! The boys will possibly go into the playoffs tied for 2nd with Sunnyville once we take care of business against Kemp in the last game of district play. Good job on another successful season Coach and good luck in the playoffs!! More details to come after Tuesday...
