Negative Effects of Wildfire on Humans and the Environment
It clears 4 million to 5 million acres of land in the U.S. every year. Detroy homes, lives, and million of acres of forest. Destroy vegetation that prevents erosion which is bad for the environent. It increase release of carbond dioxide into the air which is bad for humans.

The Peshtigo fire in 1871
In October 1871 the Great Peshtigo fire occured in Northeastern Wiscosin and Upper Michigan. It destroy million worth property and timberland. It killed Between 1,200 and 2,400 lives. Four days before the great fire, smoke on Green bay was so dense that daylight navigation was done by compass and fog horns blew steadily.
