Mistakes

Welcome back to campus for those of you who are transitioning to Hybrid Learning; if you are remaining in our Online model, please know that you are missed, and we look forward to seeing you in the future! Although it is only one day per week, we are glad you are here and look forward to seeing you each week. The fifth triad is coming to a close this week, meaning we have one more triad remaining. The time is now to set yourself up for next year’s success! As you carry on with your schoolwork, know that making mistakes is fine; it’s expected; it is part of the learning process! Mistakes provide the opportunity to get the necessary feedback to grow as a scholar and person. It’s proof of your effort!!!

Did you know that in my draft of this small paragraph above, I had eight errors that I needed to go back and correct, including missing apostrophes, incorrect punctuation, and several typing and spelling errors?

All that I ask is that you engage in the process, try your best, and positively represent our #KnightsNation.

Congratulations Mya Lozoya

Congratulations former Knight Mya Lozoya who was accepted to Graceland University!!

Here is what she said about Graceland!

I chose Graceland University because I loved how close knit the campus felt and personally for me having one on one teacher to student interaction was also very important! Graceland just felt like the perfect place for me to continue my education! I plan to double major in English and Business, with a minor in Elementary Education! I’m so grateful for the support I’ve had throughout my entire education so far and I definitely wouldn’t be here without the help and opportunities that were given to me by DMS and DMS AVID!
