Golden Girls & Company Take 2nd At State Competition, Earn 6th Straight Final Four Appearance

On Saturday the Golden Girls & Company competed in the Missouri Dance Teams Association State Championships held at Family Arena. Our Golden Girls & Company brought home a second place State finish. This is their sixth straight Final Four finish. They have also brought home three of the past five State Championships. You can view their State hip-hop routine by clicking the link below. Wrestling Brings Home GAC Post-Season Awards

The wrestling program completed their season last weekend at State but the post-season awards continue to come in. This past week our Vikings were recognized by the GAC for their efforts this season. Four Howell wrestlers were named to the All-Conference team while Ryan Skillington was named Wrestler of the Year and Coach Stroh was named Coach of the Year. Brennan O'Reilly Wins Mr. Viking

On Saturday night Viking Way hosted the annual Mr. Viking competition. Congratulations to Brennan O'Reilly on bringing home the title of Mr. Viking! Thank you Viking Way and to all that volunteered and worked to make the contest possible! You can view the results from Mr. Viking below.

Spring Sports Begin Monday

All Howell spring sports kick off on Monday. Below you will find the times and locations for all spring sports that begin on February 25th. Please note that based on weather these times and locations are subject to change. Students are encouraged to follow @FHVikings for up to the minute updates on practice locations and times that may change due to weather.

In order to participate on February 25th you must have your entire eligibility packet complete and on file in the Activities Office. Those that do not have completed paperwork will be unable to participate. Good luck to all Vikings trying out for a spring sport!

Winter Programs Recognize Seniors

The Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Cheer and GG's & Company honored their seniors on Monday night during the last home game of the winter season. It has been a successful year for all four programs. Thank you to our student-athletes, staff and parents for a great four years at Howell!

Jazz Band Performs At District Night Of Jazz

On Thursday night our very talented students involved with Jazz Band showcased their work at the "District Night of Jazz." The Jazz Band also recently performed for students and staff at our Winter Pep Rally. You can click on the link below for a selection of their work. District Basketball Begins Tuesday

The regular season came to a close last week for our boys and girls basketball programs. They will now compete in the District Tournament hosted by FZS. The boys program earned the #1 seed while the girls program earned the #2 seed in the tournament. Below is the schedule for the week. Both programs are looking to defend their District Championships and advance to the State Sectionals again this year. Good luck to both programs!

Drake Heismeyer Recieves 9th Offer From Kansas State

Congratulations to junior Drake Heismeyer. Over the weekend Drake received his 9th college football scholarship offer. This weekend he added Kansas State University to the list of college's that have offered him. Good luck to Drake as he continues to prepare for his senior season!

2019-20 School Year Start Dates & Dead Periods Announced For MSHSAA Activities & Sports

The summer, fall, winter, and spring dead periods and starting dates for MSHSAA sponsored activities has been released for the 2019-20 school year. These dates can be found below. We hope that this information helps all Vikings and their families coordinate and prepare for the summer and sports seasons ahead during the 2019-20 school year.

Summer Dead Period (All MSHSAA Sponsored Activities) - June 29 - July 7, 2019

Fall Sports Dead Period (Fall Sports) - August 5 - August 11, 2019
